Celebration Station!

We have our regular group gathering this Sunday at the Youth House from 9:02 to 9:50, so don’t miss it!

Especially because you are going to want to REGISTER for our upcoming trip to Celebration Station.  That’s right, Ascension’s Rite 13 is going to descend on Mesquite, Texas, for laser tag, minigolf, pizza and games, on Sunday, October 5!

Here is the basic info: we’ve made a reservation for a package deal from 12-2. In order to get the specially priced package deal, we have to have at least 15 people, so please let us know ASAP if you plan to attend. Friends are welcome!

To Attend: Let us know the following info by e-mail or by printing this out and bringing it to R13 on Sunday:

Time: Meet at the Youth House at 11:30; we will be leaving promptly at 11:40!  The 3 leaders can each take 4 youth, so we’ll need at least one other driver to transport us to Mesquite.  Please plan to pick up your youth at 2:00 at Celebration Station, 4040 Towne Crossing Blvd, Mesquite, TX 75150.  We will not be transporting the youth back to the church.  Click here for a map to Celebration Station.

Price: $12 for the Sampler Package (which includes 18 holes of golf, 2 attractions, and 10 tokens).

Lunch: Leaders will treat to a slice of pizza and a soft drink; after that youth are on their own (so bring extra money if needed).  Click here to see a menu and prices.

This is the first-ever post on an all-new web page: the official site for Ascension’s Rite-13 group.  (That means all 6th and 7th graders …)

I’ll keep this one short because there will be many more!  Just this: our group starts meeting on Sunday, September 7, from 9:02 to 9:50 a.m. in the living room of the Youth House at Ascension.  Plus, there’s a special cookout and swim party at Kathy Wendling’s house right after church, 12:00-1:30 p.m., to celebrate the first day of Rite-13!
